Start spreading the news, I'm leaving today.
I want to be a part of it, Iditarod.
Adventures on foot, they call me away.
Conquering Arrowhead, I dream Iditarod.
I want to wake up, sixty hours without sleep
to find I'm at Winter Lake Lodge. Won't that be sweet?
This Midwestern girl, away from her home,
out of her comfort zone, it is, Iditarod.
If I can make it there, I'll make it anywhere.
It's up to me, L.T. and luck.
Good luck! I left a comment on your last post. I'm curious where you got your kicksled. Are you planning to use it on the ITI?
ReplyDeleteEric,
ReplyDeleteA friend designed and built the kicksled. I can put you in contact with him. It's a great way to travel. It needs snow and does not ship well, so I am pulling a pulk at ITI.
Thanks Lisa. I've already got a kicksled, but yours looked like it might be built by a company, so I was curious about it. Good luck on the ITI. A friend of ours, Beat, was going to be biking it but I think he's decided to go on foot. It sounds like conditions are generally pretty good. At least, much better than last year. Have fun!
ReplyDeleteI'm rooting for you Lisa and tracking you! Good luck and be safe
ReplyDeleteGreat job on the ITI. Maybe next year you'll try for McGrath?
ReplyDeleteThank you. This blog was very useful. I learnt many things from this blog and i hope i will get to learn more as well.
